Why we don’t guarantee positive ROI to our customers

We offer quality services. However, we want to be honest with our customers and this is why we don’t offer unrealistic guarantees.

In the real world there is uncertainty about the future. You can’t predict what will happen, despite of (mostly) deterministic laws of physics.

Since we make hard work to improve the web presence of our customers and our profit margin is not big enough to deal with non-paying customers, we don’t offer “positive ROI” (“money back”) guarantee.

Be cautious when searching for SEO and online marketing services, because some Internet marketing companies offer unrealistic guarantees, such as №1 ranking on search engines, but don’t specify on which search engines (so Google may not be one of them).

Also, keep in mind that the №1 ranking may not be desired, even if it’s on Google. Because the price for achieving it can be greater than the benefit from it. In many cases you will lose less money (or even achieve positive ROI) if you chase less popular keywords and phrases.

Your Business is Most Likely to Fail

Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that approximately 20% of new businesses fail during the first two years of being open, 45% during the first five years, and 65% during the first ten years. Only 25% of new businesses make it to 15 years or more. These statistics haven’t changed much over time, and have been fairly consistent since the 1990s.

It makes no economic sense for us to return the money paid by our customers who fail.

The First Rule of Acquisition

The first rule from The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition is:

Once you have their money, you never give it back.

We will gladly take money for online marketing services from the failing businesses and will not refund the money (because we don’t want to go down with the sinking boats).

Why do book authors in the “how to make money” niche are selling you books instead of following their own advice (assuming they don’t teach you how to make money by selling books about how to make money)? The same paradox we see if we ask: Why online marketing companies are not doing online marketing for themselves (instead of doing it for others) if they know how to achieve positive ROI for sure?

Why you receive spam e-mails from “online marketing agencies”? Maybe they are not so good at the white hat online marketing. What do you expect from them? Тo send spam with your website URL on it?

Some people still practice sending e-mail spam. Because sometimes it’s profitable. To solve this problem, please don’t buy anything from spammers! If people didn’t give their money to spammers, there wouldn’t be so much spam.
